Comments Mr. Atkinson, "I am humbly elated to have achieved this award. When I first learned about the contest and global search for New Beatles Art, my art piece was a work in early progress. It was the urging of family and friends that prompted me to forego my reservations to enter the competition and I am glad I did. The photos of my Beatles Sculpture displayed in this book are as the art piece appeared when the photos were submitted for the contest and book's production. Since that time I've continued refining the work with concentrated focus on The Beatles' Spirit and comradery. As every Beatles fan knows, a very unique and magical chemistry existed amongst and between The Beatles. Winning First Place in this global art competition has given me new perspective, added motivation, a fresh approach to better critique my own work and most importantly, new found inspiration.
